Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Responsibilities include maintenance of the job unit, job preparation, pre-job checks, load-out, rigging up and rigging down and post-job checks.

Maintains equipment and trains Tethered Pipeline Operator Trainee.

Under close supervision, learns to service mechanical devices, build logging cable heads.

Rigging up and rigging down with minimal supervision.

Develops hoisting skills in all tethered pipeline inspection situations.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred with no experience required.

CDL license with required endorsements.

Other Details

May travel up to 50% of the time.

You will be engaged in all phases of life of subsea pipelines systems from design through construction to operations to decommissioning, covering subsea pipelines, risers, flexibles & umbilicals and floating production. You will preferably have had exposure to deepwater / difficult environments previously. Suitable candidates will be Degree qualified with more than ten years experience of similar works employing current analysis software i.e. Mathcad / ABAQUS / Olga / Orcaflex etc. Preference will also be given to Chartered Engineers.

In 2011 through 2015 they will implement a major invest programme in their business which will see a push for increased production from Brownfield sites and Greenfield developments. To ensure this investment is maximised, they seek to recruit a Production Engineering Advisor to increase production.

The role will report to the Director. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years within upstream operators/service companies in production orientated roles. You will have considerable exposure to studies focused on production optimisation (Brownfield and Greenfield). Key accountabilities:
